Day 1, arrive Vienna, Tuesday

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Plenty of time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and your Tour Director at the welcome dinner. (D)

 

Day 2, in Vienna, Wednesday

On your morning sightseeing tour, visit the Hofburg Palace, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and view the Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN buildings, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city’s imperial history. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)

 

Day 3, Vienna – Zagreb, Thursday

Today, travel South-East towards Croatia via Slovenia. Before, you enter to Slovenia stop to view the galleried courtyards and famous clock tower at Graz. Continue to Croatia and drive through the Croatian Hills region, reaching Zagreb in time to relax before dinner. (B, D)

 

Day 4, in Zagreb, Friday

A morning sightseeing tour will take you along the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside. (B)

 

Day 5, Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Zadar, Saturday

Journey south, and visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Continue to Zadar for embarkation, dinner on board with your fellow ‘sailors’. Overnight on board. (B,D)

 

Day 6, Zadar – Telascica, Sunday

Morning at walking tour of Zadar. Followed by onboard lunch and sail to National Park Kornati, anchorage in Telascica, the nature park. Dinner on board. (B,L,D)

 

Day 7, NP Kornati – Vodice, Monday

Morning entrance to National Park Kornati that have more that 140 islands. Stop for swimming with “en route” onboard lunch. Late afternoon arrival at Vodice. Enjoy walk at water front main street. (B,L)

 

Day 8, Vodice – Trogir – Split, Tuesday

In the morning we start sailing to Trogir, stoping on the way for swim. Lunch onboard, and in afternoon we arrive in UNESCO City Trogir. Free time in Trogir and afternoon depart to Split also Unesco city. (B,L)

 

Day 9, Split – Hvar, Wednesday

Today begins with a walking tour of the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. After lunch in we departure from Split to Hvar. En route stop for swimming. Late afternoon arrival to the town of Hvar with unique cultural and historical heritage. Evening in Hvar, dine at one of the many local family owned restaurants. (B,L)

 

Day 10, Hvar – Korcula, Thursday

After breakfast departure to Korcula. Lunch on board, late afternoon arrival to Korcula, the acclaimed birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants of your choice. (B,L)

 

Day 11, Korcula – Mljet – Dubrovnik, Friday

Morning departure to Island Mljet with a stop for swimming on the way. Arrival to the heart of Mljet National Park, where you would enjoy a beautiful walk around the Great, and the Small Lake. Lunch on  board. In the afternoon arrival to Dubrovnik, the pearl of Adriatic, famous city enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage. Followed by walking tour of old Dubrovnik including entrances to Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. In the evening enjoy local wine or dine at one of numerous local restaurants of your choice (B,L)

 

Day 12, depart Dubrovnik, Saturday

Disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight home. (B)
