Hotel Triglav Celebrates Five Star Dining at 1906 Restaurant

Hotel Triglav Celebrates Five Star Dining at 1906 Restaurant

I really want to share with you all our wonderful experience staying at Hotel Triglav in Bled. Quite apart from its magnificent views across Lake Bled, Hotel Triglav  operates a fabulous culinary school  with a long- term goal of lifting the bar on fine dining and drinking.

The cuisine at Hotel Triglav is quite superb and the hotel’s chef combines with two other world class chefs from Villa Bled and Panorama Restaurant in a program called “3 Chefs” where hotel guests are given the opportunity to pamper their taste buds.

As a side-line Hotel Triglav organises special culinary workshops with some of the most popular programs specifically designed to appeal to children aged from 4 to 12.

The children get to know the local dishes, even harvest the ingredients themselves from the hotel’s very own garden and put together healthy, tasty, well-balanced and enticing meals and have lots of fun in the process.

Hotel Triglav is in a league of its own when it comes to creative hotel experiences.

Slovenian Ski Resorts Launch Early Season | Ski Holidays in Slovenia

Recent snowfall has enabled winter resorts in Slovenia to launch the skiing season earlier than usual in 2011. All major resorts are opening this weekend. It is hard to find the superlatives to describe the conditions out in The Alps at the moment. There is snow practicaly every resort in The Alps with some resorts receiving almost 1m in the past week alone.

Snowfall in Slovenian Ski ResortsKranska Gora, Slovenia

Ski resorts in Slovenia extend across the Alps offering great hills that enjoy excellent snow cover and of course snow cannons in the case that the winter is mild.  One of the best reasons to check out the Slovenian pistes is due to the fact that they are located in the lowlands allowing for direct access to and from the resort areas.  Therefore, they offer great accessibility with ski-in urban centres that are equipped with some of the most modern cable lift systems in the Alps.

With plenty of small town village shops to explore, an amazing away of nature parks, and even caverns waiting to be explored, there is plenty to explore both on and off the slopes during any ski holidays in Slovenia.
